Role Description
We are seeking a highly organized, innovative, and results-driven Social Media Manager to lead and scale our influencer marketing efforts across all major social platforms. This role combines influencer partnerships, social media strategy, campaign management, performance analysis, and team leadership.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing influencer outreach and partnerships, negotiating collaborations, coordinating content deliverables, and tracking performance of influencer campaigns. The role also involves community management, responding to comments and messages, monitoring trends, and identifying opportunities to increase engagement and follower growth. In addition, the Influencer/Social Media Manager will analyze social media analytics, provide regular performance reports, collaborate with product and marketing teams on integrated campaigns, and support PR and brand awareness initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Influencer Partnership Management:
- Source, negotiate, and manage influencer partnerships across multiple social media platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with creators, ensuring a positive and professional experience throughout the partnership lifecycle.
- Manage a portfolio of 50+ active influencers simultaneously, including communication, content schedules, deliverables, and ongoing support.
- Negotiate partnership terms and campaign structures while obtaining final approval from senior leadership before execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for influencers, addressing questions, resolving issues, and maintaining long-term relationships.
Campaign Performance & Analytics:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on influencer campaign performance.
- Identify top-performing creators and recommend strategies to increase investment and scale successful partnerships.
- Use performance data to optimize future campaigns, improve return on investment, and guide partnership decisions.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership regarding creator performance and market opportunities.
Social Media Strategy:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute social media growth strategies.
- Identify emerging trends, platform updates, and opportunities within the creator economy.
- Contribute innovative ideas that drive audience growth, engagement, brand awareness, and user acquisition.
- Help shape the company's overall social media direction across all major platforms.
Team Leadership & Outreach Management:
- Manage and mentor a team of Marketing Assistants responsible for influencer outreach and partnership development.
- Establish outreach goals, performance expectations, and operational processes.
- Guide outreach strategy, including target creator profiles, niche selection, outreach volume, and messaging approaches.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and ensure consistent execution against objectives.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and results-oriented team environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Head of Growth and senior leadership team to align influencer initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Maintain ongoing communication regarding partnership opportunities, negotiations, campaign results, and strategic recommendations.
- Present insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making and continued growth.
Qualifications
Required:
- 1-3 years of influencer and Social Media Marketing.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear writing, confident verbal communication, and the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
- Proven experience in Influencer Marketing, including sourcing creators, managing collaborations, negotiating terms, and measuring campaign impact.
- Hands-on Social Media Marketing experience across major platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn), including content planning, posting, and analytics.
- Public Relations skills, such as coordinating with media or partners, supporting announcements, and helping maintain a consistent, positive brand image.
- Sales or partnership-oriented mindset with the ability to pitch the brand, build relationships, and convert interest into long-term collaborations.
- Familiarity with social media and influencer tools (e.g., scheduling platforms, analytics dashboards, creator discovery tools).
Preferred:
- Experience in fintech, consumer apps, or startups is preferred; a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing platforms, CRM systems, and campaign reporting tools.
