  • Implement Financial Controls: Design and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and optimize financial operations.
  • Leverage technology to drive accuracy and efficiency: Optimize our accounting processes by finding opportunities within our ERP and financial reporting. Take a leadership role in future integrations as we scale, ensuring systems are set up for long-term growth.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and grow a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee and manage, in coordination with external tax professionals, all federal, state, and local taxes, including long-term tax planning.

About you

  • 10+ years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, with time spent in high-growth startups or rapidly scaling companies. Experience in manufacturing or subscription service companies is a plus.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing, building and scaling highly effective accounting teams in dynamic environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting software (experience with NetSuite preferred).
