Role Overview:

We’re seeking a full-time iOS and visionOS developer that will be leading our efforts of building and maintaining the apps and SDKs powering YBVR’s immersive and interactive capabilities. You will be surrounded by a strong team, building and evolving these groundbreaking technologies for all major mobile and XR platforms, with a strong entrepreneurial vibe.

Responsibilities:

• Lead iOS / visionOS client app and SDK development.
• Collaborate with our development team to create impactful immersive video apps.
• Design and innovate new features, build reusable components, and provide clear documentation.
• Develop test automation tools for comprehensive streaming cycles and client apps.
• Contribute to team growth through mentoring, code reviews, and shared learning.
• Plan development timelines, assess potential risks, and coordinate project strategies.
• Bring ideas to life with prototyping.

Essentials:

• 1+ year in the software development realm.
• Proficient in Swift for iOS.
• Familiarity with C/C++ on iOS.
• Proactive mindset to embrace and tackle challenges.
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development process.
• Commitment to quality documentation and effective code management.
• Fluent English communication.

Desirable Skills (Not required, but would give you an edge):

• 2+ years in software development.
• Experience with 3D Graphics and Shaders, especially OpenGL/Metal.
• Hands-on experience with Apple video streaming frameworks or others (e.g., FFMPEG, VLC).
• BS/MS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a scrum/agile environment.
